on my morning walk to surfers i'm beginning to see the same people
bonsai guy - meticulously manicuring his array of bonsai's at precisely 9am every morning
the skeleton - she must be 60 but looks about 80 due to her wrinkly, leathery, sagging skin. she sums up the stereotype of the gold coast woman. but wait there's more...she hasn't eaten since the 70's and from behind would be mistaken for the hunchback of notre dame, wearing the same dress every day which she is constantly pulling the straps back onto her non-existant shoulders, on her daily walk to...wait for it...the local chevron island solarium
her hair is an immaculate bottle blond bob and there's a shy little lady inside her piercing blue eyes
maybe i'll take her out for lunch...
the walking red jacket - another culprit of the "never changing her clothes" offence and clothes that don't fit her at that
unlike the skeleton, red jacket has eaten since the 70's...but stopped in the 90's
her power walk along the esplanade and similarly styled bob may allude to the idea that skeleton and red jacket are sisters, but red jacket's hair shimmers a shiny black due to her asian heritage. but she's on a mission all the same, charging along the asphalt, weights in hand these people intrigue me
marie fredriksson - resembling the female half of german band roxette, this lady has to the happiest person i've ever come across. her energy rockets out of her bleached spiked hair and spews all over anyone she comes across. she'd make any emo kid want to wear pink. i don't know the real name of this beam of light that serves me coffee and toast but she certainly brightens up my day when flashes her pearly whites as i waddle past duo...and its not the caffine, i quit
my favourite things; red wine and blogging...besides the beach and early retirement
